Linux System Admin
- System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers / Virtualization
- Monitoring servers and software for performance
- Configuration and administration of LVM and Veritas logical volume manager.
- Installing and Maintaining kickstart environment Collaborating with other technical and non-technical team members
- Manage Webhosting Systems on required hardware platforms in a production environment with minimum downtime
- Writing shell scripts to acomplish day to day system administration task
- Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
- Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.
- Administration of NIS or LDAP environment
- Configuring Unix Security baseline
- Performance Management & fine tuning
- Experience in System Fault Tolerance.
